Item #1: City of Heroes
Class: Video Gamer for PC
Sub Class: MMO
My Score: 8/10
Ok, I have been playing this on a 14 day trial, and am still playing it. So, I will start at the beginning. Before you do anything ales, you need to pick weather your a Villain or a Hero. I decided I would be a Hero. The next thing is the look of your character. I chose female as the sex of my character, and, as guys do, gave her the biggest boobs possible. :D The next step is making customising the costume of you hero or Villain. After about 10 minuets, I had something that I liked. The last tow things you do is picking your powers and name your Avatar for in the game. I went for a Wolverine style power, with blades coming out of my hands. I then named her Ginger Fire. Now I was done with that, it was on to the actual game! YA!

The tutorial is pretty good, and gives you a good imprison of how the game works. The tutorial it self will last about 20 min, so it is a relatively shot one, if you consider other games on the market. It dose get a little repetitive going from one person to the next, and back in some cases, but it is not as repetitive as other games, so it is still all good.
So, once you are finished with tutorial, you are sent to Atlas Park. Well, to be honest, you can pick between tow This is were things get good. Unlike other MMO's, yer grinding consists of going in to 'dungeons', you can just walk around Atlas Park, and protecting the civilian population from the thugs that are around the city.
Atlas Park
For example, you could be running down the street, and you see a women being robed by some thugs. You can go over, and defeat them, she shows her appreciation by telling you something like 'Your my new favourite hero!' or 'Nice Costume!' Yer, you don't get anything from them, but every time I defeat them, and I feel like I have done something worth while.
There are sewers, but I am yet to have a good go at them, due to the fact every time I go in to them, I die. YA for being a low level. That, and I think the idea is that you go down them as a team. I am yet to have a go at teams and clans out, but from what I here, they are very well set up.
Anyway, moving on, the mission system is good. You start with a contact, witch you then go to to get the missions. When you have done everything for him, he then points you to another contact. You can also find NPC's that will give you more missions, but for some of them, you need a certain level.
All in all, City of Heroes is a great MMO. Infact, it is one of the beast MMO's I have played in a long time.
Until next time, Josh
